Tailor your program to your precise needs.
We customize a program that fits your organization’s needs, whether it is
Lean-based, Six Sigma-based, balanced, or focused on specific tools such as 5S,
Failure Analysis, Standard Work, and Statistical Process Control.
Modular programs combine basic statistical tools with accepted quality techniques.
But our training is not just about statistics and the technical tools of improvement.
It also includes modules on project management, leadership, and creative problem
solving to produce a strong set of techniques for different business environments.
Training is linked to project work aimed at a measurable financial payback. Experienced
Master Black Belts will help you identify the most appropriate projects so you attack
the improvement areas with the greatest payback potential.

Stage 1
Pre-program company visit
Pre-program visit and meeting with project leaders and sponsors for an introduction
and project scoping session and agreement on success criteria and financial metrics.
Stats ground school (optional)
Practical pre-program knowledge-refresher on basic statistical tools or pre-course
work and reading.
Stage 2
Modular training
Training programs organized in modular blocks that follow key stages of the Six
Sigma process. Hands-on training with Minitab®, the software used for data analysis
and reporting. Comprehensive course notes, with enough detail to make them invaluable
reference manuals. Team of specialized instructors throughout the program coordinated
by a course leader.
Project work
Project work between training sessions. Time with an experienced Six Sigma practitioner
for each participant so their project objectives, scope, and direction are clear.
Project reviews at each training block, where participants are mentored through
project progress and planning. Web forum, e-mail, or phone mentoring for ongoing
help and advice.
Stage 3
Certification
Black Belt & Green Belt accreditation that includes:
1. Computer-based multiple choice exam
2. Written project report
3. Presentation on the key findings, outcomes, and process used
4. Assessment interview
Payback
Technical and financial success criteria, management support structure, and goals
established for each project. A typical participant should be able to generate savings
of at least double the cost of training.
